I have been working with character and expression using fibre and stitch since I graduated from Central St Martins with an

MA in Textiles in 2000. My practice has always involved drawing with thread and this has included childrens book illustration  in making 'It's Windy' & "It's Raining'  pop up books .

My studio work from this period has largely been supported with educational projects: including creative partnerships, Artist in Residencies and the setting up of Ateliers within early years settings.

Since lockdown I have discovered the tufting gun which has enabled the drawn stitch to increase in size creating tufted wall hangings, and home interior accesories.
